I have been going to the Clifton Park Vent for almost a year now and I am enjoying my membership. The equipment is well maintained and the locker room is always clean. I have not tried any of the classes, so I can not speak to those. I usually arrive between 730am - 830am during the week and have yet to struggle finding open equipment to use which is nice. The other members are very respectful which creates a comfortable atmosphere. Staff is always cordial and helpful which I appreciate.

I was a member of Vent Fitness for several years, but started taking classes and really working on my fitness goals in July 2021. The gym in Clifton Park has a great atmosphere--It's clean and there's a variety of machines and equipment to suit everyone. They offer many amenities that I enjoyed like the massage beds, tanning and shake bar. The front desk associates and managers are friendly and personable-they greet you with a smile and know your name when you come in! I especially loved taking BodyPump, BodyCombat and E3 level classes at Vent. The instructors/trainers are motivating, energetic and care about your fitness goals. I lost 60+ pounds and I'm so grateful for where I'm at right now because of going to Vent.

I needed a gym while I visited my family in Clifton Park, NY for the 2023 Holiday season. I found Vent Fitness online, walked in and paid $35 for a 7 day Guest Pass. I was stoked at the price! (A day pass is $25 per day here). There is a large parking lot with ample spaces and the front desk staff was lovely and helpful. The gym has 2 floors. Upstairs is a huge assortment of cardio machines and a group fitness studio. I found it to be very hot during my rowing and step-machine workouts but it's winter in NY so it makes sense that the heat was on. The music was a bit too loud for me but I'm 40 so that checks out too lol. The first floor has tanning, lockers rooms, water fountains, massage chairs, weight machines and an enormous free-weight section. There's also a juice bar that looked delicious. The price was right and there was enough equipment for the larger crowds at the gym while I was there. The machines and bathrooms were clean too! I would recommend Vent Fitness and will be back when I'm on the East Coast again.

Went here for over a decade and I ended up getting banned from all locations due to an incident in the sauna that I didn’t instigate. It’s the classic two sides of the story but I genuinely was passive the whole time until he tried to come at me. They ended up taking his side because of how upset he was and since he (probably in his late 30’s) had the cops called on me who is a kid in his early twenties who literally just used self defense. The owners of this location are the typical out of touch egotistical drones. Seems to be a general consensus that these two chumps are very condescending to other people. Well at least the lady is. Esposito is a little more down to earth but I don’t agree with the final decision to ban me from all locations when the whole situation is started over fragile egos. I’m able to look at it objectively even while it was happening and after. Even the cop I talked to agreed with me that it should’ve never escalated over me simply pouring a little water on the rocks to heat it up. It’s ridiculous. Maybe people are just on edge with what’s going on in the world which is understandable. I feel bad for the dude after it happened even though he’s the one who really escalated it. Maybe I should’ve asked but literally everyone else but him and one other dude had a problem. I’ve never had this issue before over the 100s of times I used it with other people…

One of the worst gyms in the area. Would never suggest to anyone. The place is a joke. They denied me cancelling a membership - where I have not gone in months and have not used their services and never will again- and they say they will continue to charge me monthly & additional fees/late fees- regardless that I asked for cancellation- and refusing to cancel my membership. Where I do NOT go and have not in months. people who go there, put their stuff on machines they’re not using- to keep others who actually go to workout from using it- while they go off and treat it like a social club. Or they stay on a machine, doing nothing, except scrolling on their phones. Nobody says anything. Gym bags and purses brought out on the gym floor causing a tripping hazard- nobody says anything about it either I watched a dirty napkin sit in the same locker for MONTHS- Showing the lack of actual cleaning. They allow males to enter the women’s locker room/bathroom during active gym hours, to do “work” in there and yet I was made to feel highly uncomfortable walking out of a bathroom stall as they abruptly said “male entering” without being given a choice in the matter, this should not be allowed. Women are changing in there and it should be a safe space. Nor should the back room door by the bathroom/sauna be open with a male standing in there, which I’ve come across more than once, as well. Not to mention not only are women changing/showering in there, but teenage girls as well. Their cleaners vacuum during active gym hours, causing tripping hazards and getting right into spaces where you’re trying to workout. Cleaning and fixing should be done after hours.. The gym is too crowded and they keep trying to stuff more things in there but it’s just made it worse. Too many people and not enough space. Too much drama from the younger crowds is allowed, who cause unnecessary issues. If you’re looking for a REAL gym- this isn’t the place to go. It’s about the same quality of planet fitness- with less benefits for the similar priced membership option.
